Despite what the weather is telling us in the UK, Spring is fast approaching, so in light of this, it’s time for a new fragrance. The new scent ‘laurel’ is aptly named after the flower of which it is derived from, particularly its smell in soap form. The smell itself would be described as dried leaves one would use for cooking, almost pine-like, with an exotic vibe, that has a subtle hint of white pepper giving it that spiciness. It is a scented snapshot of a spring weekend in the eastern Mediterranean, walking through the ancient gardens of Batroun, Lebanon, being warm and inviting and at times a little sharp.
